Bookcase

I've had this bookshelf for a bit, I've been meaning to make it look a little better.  Nothing a few coats of paint won't fix.  I used Old White chalk paint from Annie Sloan.

Here is what it looked like before, it had a couple of grooves by the sliding doors from moving straps...I just used some wall putty to fill those in.

Longest part was taping all of the glass with painters tape and newspaper.

Even my dog helped with the process

I kept the old hardware because it looked nice and there was nothing physically wrong with it.  I also used a sanding block and went around the edges by the glass, the drawers and the outside of the bookshelf to give it a more distressed look.

Small change but it makes me happy.
